Do not mess with it unnecessarily. If any connection seems insecure, remove it before driving. If in doubt in any way, remove it before driving. On the other hand, avoid many plug-unplug cycles as the OEM connector could be damaged or worn if cycled too many times and become a hazard. If the wiring harness in this kit or the OEM connector was ripped out while driving, it is possible that that could produce an accident. Please don't let that happen to you. In testing, we tried removing the OEM ICU-H connector while the car was on.
